Did you know that more than 25 years ago, Covenant established a sister church relationship with Buena Nuevas Lutheran Church in El Salvador?  If you did know about this connection, you may be wondering what is going on now in this ministry.  That will be our focus this week in adult education.  Fleeta Holcomb, with the assistance of Barry Karalfa, will present the update.

Fleeta writes: “Have you wondered why our Covenant UMC sister church ministry team sells fair trade products each month? What do coffee and chocolate have to do with sending children to school in El Salvador? Join us this Sunday to learn more about how the philosophy that drives fair trade companies like Equal Exchange meshes with our mission of creating opportunities for the families of Buenas Nuevas and helps us raise funds for that work.  We will also share news of what’s been happening in our sister church community since our last delegation visit in 2018.”
