Please join us for three Sundays (Nov. 6, 13, and 20) as we explore Gospel and American Culture in Dialogue presented by Rev. Dr. Scott Kinder-Pyle. Scott is an ordained Presbyterian pastor, serving for over 35 years in various capacities, a published author, and currently serving as a pastor in a local hospital and as a representative for Gentiva Hospice. He savors his encounters with a variety of individuals with mental health challenges as well as memory loss. Scott is married to Sheryl (35 years!), who is also an ordained Presbyterian pastor and serves as Executive Presbyter for the Presbytery of the Inland NW. The Kinder-Pyle have two grown sons, Ian and Phillip.
Scott seeks to present and explore with us the most poignant biblical themes in their native habitat: popular culture. Join us in the sanctuary as we hear, and explore together, poetry, prose, music, and particularly film as they relate to God’s reconciling work and words.
