On October 1st, we will be offering some more information about the UMC Schism. As a part of this, Pastor Megan will be offering an overview of the situation, and a number of our local leaders will be responding to questions about the situation. 

Because of the time constraints and the fact that many of our questions will be along a similar theme, we are asking for questions to be submitted ahead of time. This can be done in two ways:

1) Send Pastor Megan an email with the subject line: “Questions for Adult Ed” (pastor@covenantmethodist.org)
or
2) click this link to the Google Form.

We are offering written options in order to compile the questions our congregation has about the UMC Split into themes, so that we can address as many questions as time allows. We can all agree that some folks need more time to process, so this form is to give the option for folks to think on their questions.
Additionally, by using this form, we can make sure we respond to all the questions, even if we run out of time the day of.  It also gives the panel the opportunity to collect the most up-to-date information from the various United Methodist Committees and Commissions for the questions asked.

For folks who have questions arise out of the panel discussion, we will provide another opportunity to submit questions in the week following the Adult Ed session.

I think we can all agree that making sure that making sure we have the most accurate information  available is very important.
