On Sunday, February 19th, we welcome old friend Joe Ader of Family Promise back to Covenant for our Adult Education presentation after worship at approximately 10:45. Please join us for education and inspiration!

Joe Ader is the Executive Director of Family Promise of Spokane and is the CEO of UP – Understanding Poverty – which trains and consults with organizations wishing to better serve people living in poverty. Mr. Ader has over 30 years of on the ground practical experience serving people experiencing poverty and homelessness through both nonprofit and church based-ministries. He has spent decades researching, testing and teaching others the best tools and techniques for serving the poor. His clients include PepsiCo, Frito Lay, Prison Ministries, PayPal, Dallas United Way, The Federal Reserve Bank, The Village Church, Family Promise and over a hundred nonprofits and churches.

Joe will be speaking on the cause of homelessness and what actions the church should take to fulfill its mission in our community.
