Presenter: Ray Archuleta
We are meeting in person and on Zoom this week.
Mr. Archuleta was in Spokane speaking to primarily farmers and ranchers last year and David Yarborough was in attendance. He talked to Ray and when he heard about what Covenant is doing with the Eden Community Garden, he offered to join us on Zoom for an adult education session. This is David’s introduction of Mr. Archuleta:
“Ray is a Certified Professional Soil Scientist with the Soil Science Society of America and has over 30 years experience as a Soil Conservationist, Water Quality Specialist, and Conservation Agronomist with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). During his tenure with the NRCS Ray served in New Mexico, Missouri, Oregon, and North Carolina. He has traveled worldwide and is highly respected. He is the featured soil scientist in Netflix’s Kiss the Ground documentary. Ray is also a committed Christian, and currently operates with his family a 150-acre ranch in Seymour, Missouri.”
This is Ray’s description of his message:
“Since the creation of men, the Earth has been groaning under men’s dominion. After the death of Jesus Christ. A new age has been ushered in like a tiny mustard seed. An age of healing. Some Christians have awakened to the fact that the “Kingdom of God is within us! It is Here, it is NOW! This awareness brings a change of heart and mind. This new mindset has changed the current industrial agriculture model to a Regenerative Agriculture model. A new agriculture that mimics nature’s design, principles, and patterns. An agriculture that brings peace and healing to all of God’s creation.”
Join us in person or on Zoom approximately 15 minutes after the closing of the morning service for this enlightening presentation. If you don’t get the Sunday morning Zoom link, this is how to enter the Zoom class. Open the Zoom app on your phone or computer. The ID for this class is: 976 0612 3777. There is no passcode.
